Description
The east side and main entrance of the Ellensburg High School, built in 1912 on South Sprague Street. The building housed grades 9-12 and was the first our year high school building in Ellensburg. The building was last used as a high school during the 1955-1956 school year. For a few years the building remained empty except for use by staff and students of Morgan Jr. High which was located directly to the east of the high school. The old school was eventually used as a school storage facilities until demolished in 1991.Postcard titled: "No.6. High School, Ellensburg, Washington."
