Description
Purchased in March of 1889 the lot on the northwest corner of N. Sprague Street and Fourth Avenue would be the future site of the Grace Episcopal Church, Rectory and Parish House. During the ministry of Rev. Bard money was raised for the construction of a church. The cornerstone was laid on August 14, 1897. The small green building served as the Grace Episcopal Church until 1964 when it was razed for the construction of a grocery store. The building on the left was the Parish House and Rectory which was also torn down in 1964.Postcard titled: "Grace Episcopal Church, Ellensburg, Wash."
