Description
Both sides of busy First Street were lined with vintage 1920s automobiles in this classic Cle Elum photograph. Looking west on First Street near the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue, the Cle Elum State Bank brick building on the right and the MacMarr Stores and C. J. Breiers Company on the left can be seen. Since Highway 10 ran through the middle of Cle Elum many hotel and restaurants accommodations were provided for travelers.Postcard titled, "Street Scene - Cle Elum." (Ellis No. 7001.)
